Student Activities organizes events designed to entertain, educate and inspire the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ community.

Student Leadership and Involvement

The mission of the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Leadership Program is to cultivate effective leaders for Alaska by creating and supporting a rich variety of student leadership development opportunities, partnering with academic departments and the community, and recognizing successful student leadership.

Nanook Traditions

Nanook Traditions are among ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½'s most highly anticipated annual events. These include the Starvation Gulch bonfires in September, Winter Carnival in February, and SpringFest in late April.

Center for Student Engagement

The Center for Student Engagement (CSE) provides a welcoming space, educational programming, and opportunities to transform social concerns into action.

The Commons

The Commons serves as gathering space for the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ faith community, recognizing and celebrating the needs of the student. This space is to accommodate all religious University students so that they feel spoken for and that they belong. We want to create a quiet space for them to feel comfortable exercising their religious practices and exploring their spiritual selves.

Office of Sustainability

The ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Office of Sustainability is a student-funded, student-driven effort to make ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ a model for the Circumpolar North and beyond by incorporating sustainability into curriculum, operations, campus life and the greater community.

Esports

Whether you are a player or a spectator, a competitive or casual gamer, we have something for you at the Alaska Esports Center.

Everyone's invited to the party! The Alaska Esports Center welcomes all students and community members to have fun, compete and work together.

Student Government - The Associated Students of the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½

The Associated Students of the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ is ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½'s representative student body. All ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ students who pay the consolidated fee are members of the association.

The Sun Star

The Sun Star is funded directly by the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ student body.

The Sun Star is an independent student-run news organization and does not represent the views or opinions of the University of Alaska System.

KSUA 91.5 FM

KSUA 91.5 FM is a student-run radio station located in the Wood Center on ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½'s Troth Yeddha' campus. As part of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Student Media it provides a platform for student voices and music that you wouldn't hear anywhere else.
