McDonald to serve as interim registrar

Holly McDonald has been named interim registrar, effective March 4. 

She will take over for Mike Earnest, who has accepted a new position with the University of Alaska Office of Information Technology. He will manage a systemwide project to modernize the university’s student information systems. The project is expected to take about three years. 

McDonald brings over 20 years of experience at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ in student services and has seven years of experience working in the Registrar’s Office as associate registrar. Most recently, she has served as advising coordinator for the past two years.
