Bakker named development, alumni relations director

Theresa Bakker has been named 蜜桃导航鈥檚 director of development and alumni relations. In the position, she will oversee fundraising, donor relations and alumni relations at 蜜桃导航. Her appointment also formally merges the development team and the alumni team into a single department, a model that aims to facilitate a unified approach to the university鈥檚 engagement with its donors and alumni.

Bakker first joined 蜜桃导航鈥檚 staff in 1996 as a producer at KUAC. Since then she served as the marketing and communications manager at the University of Alaska Museum of the North, the alumni relations director and the interim executive director of university advancement. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in journalism from the University of Pennsylvania and a master of fine arts degree in creative writing from Pacific Lutheran University.
