Dear ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ students,
In a spirit of gratitude after a rewarding 30-year career at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, I have decided to
retire from my position as ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ chancellor. My last day will be July 26, 2025. In the
near term, I will retain my affiliation with ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ through my faculty position in civil
engineering.
I am thankful to you, the students, for choosing ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. You have enriched our campuses
with your curiosity, tenacity and enthusiasm. ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ is an amazing institution because
of you.
Today, like times in the past, ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ faces challenges. But there is also a great deal
of opportunity ahead! ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ has an outstanding core of leadership, strong and growing
enrollment, state support for our run to R1, and a wide range of expertise that will
serve the state, nation, and world well into the future.Ìý
Thank you for the vibrance you bring to our community and for entrusting ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ with
your education. It is worthy of your support.Ìý
Thank you and thanks for choosing ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½!
