Dear ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ community,

February is Black History Month, a time to recognize the achievements, contributions and struggles of Black Americans in our country.

In recognition of Black History Month the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Nanook Diversity and Action Center is offering, including an that will be displayed at Arctic Java in the Wood Center.

Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. there will be an open forum on ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½â€™s efforts toward inclusive excellence. Leaders from units across campus will discuss our ongoing efforts to grow a culture of respect, diversity, inclusion and caring at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. Many educational resources are also available in ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½â€™s Share, Learn, Grow archive. I hope you will take time to engage in some of the events throughout the month as well as join us this Thursday at the diversity forum.
