Last week in Chancellor White's Memorial Day message the Chancellor mentioned "At
the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, we are proud to be a veteran-serving institution.
Almost 20% of our student body are veterans, active-duty members, or their dependents."
Here in the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Department of Military and Veteran Services, we have the great privilege
of serving our military-affiliated ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ students. Today I would like to tell you a
little more about how we in the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Department of Military and Veteran Services work
to support our students and engage with our military community here in Alaska and

This month the UA HR Talent Acquisition and Development Team has curated four training
collections, spanning from team-building activities to mentoring, all bound together
by the theme of working better together. Whether you want to feel more cohesion within
a group, have been tasked with leading a committee or project, or are a supervisor
