Art and film featured at museum's First Friday
The UA Museum of the North will show a documentary film and open an art exhibit on First Friday, Dec. 1. The community is invited to the 40th anniversary special screening of the film "Uksuum Cauyai: The Drums of Winter." Also, visitors can see a new exhibit featuring works by Fairbanks artist Jamie Smith in the Café Gallery.

ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ to host drone races

The first ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ drone races will be held at the Patty Center ice arena from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3. The Alaska Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration, or ACUASI, is holding the event, in association with the Federal Aviation Administration’s Center of Excellence for UAS Research.
